"It's chinook time in our local waters now, so get out there. The largest to date is a 32-lb. tyee caught on board the John B. We have been hooking three to eight chinook ranging in size from 12-25 lbs. over the past few days. Tides don't seem to matter, which makes things easier for boat traffic. Fish 55 feet to the bottom for best results. Bait, plastic and spoons have worked. Remember to respect the shipping channel while there are deep sea vessels present. We have a lots of space this up coming week but this weekend is sold out. Good luck and keep your tip up!"
