Fly Fish Alaska
By Beckie Clark - Fernie Fly Fishing
I am thrilled to offer and host what is going to be an amazing trip and one of the finest weeks of fly fishing this year, in King Salmon, Alaska from September 28 - October 3, 2014:
5 Days / 5 Nights - $5,900 per person including 2 days on the Naknek River, 3 remote fly outs, breakfast, lunch, 2 dinners, beer, gear and flies.
This is a special and unique Alaskan option because not only are we fishing Bristol Bay's superior rivers during the very best part of the entire season but we are experiencing local Alaskan culture with Patricia Adel at the Blue Fly Bed & Breakfast Guide Service operation.
King Salmon is located 284 miles southwest of Anchorage on the Alaska Peninsula and serves as the gateway to Katmai National Park and Preserve and the small quaint community is located along the banks of the Naknek River.
The Blue Fly Bed and Breakfast offers quick access to both the Naknek River with its prolific runs of salmon and trophy rainbow trout over 30 inches and to the wadeable wilderness streams that feed into the breathtaking Naknek Lake.
Our fishing for the week is a mix of local waters and 3 remote fly outs. Breakfast, lunch and 2 dinners during the week are provided by the lodge and the rest of the dinners we will be out within the community, enjoying the local cultural cuisine.
