Dropbox from Google is an easy, free way to get your photos to me. It's a quick install then all you have to do is drag and drop the photos (and article) into the folder. If you don't have it yet, please follow this link to install it - http://db.tt/M9bba2CWby Perry Mack
If you want to share the excitement of your latest fishing adventure then there's no better way than to submit photos and an article.
Articles are roughly 400 to 800 words and should include where you're fishing, what you caught and what you used to catch it. If you are a guide, lodge or resort - you can include any news and events as well as some background information.
Please include any video you might have shot as I can post it with the article in digital editions and newsletters.
Cover photos are special and not just because we only select one a year. You must take the photo in portrait orientation (camera turned sideways), leave room at the top for the Sport Fishing Guide logo and we're not just looking for beautiful fish - we're looking for smiling faces - no sunglasses and no ballcaps shading them.
Photos for the print magazine should be at least 300 dpi and the file size is typically more than 1Mb. We like to see some in portrait orientation - camera turned sideways - it helps in the layout and as I said - these are the photos we use to choose our cover shots.
