Fall in British Columbia is spawning season for salmon and this annual event can be watched from five different places around the province.
Best time to visit: Now and early November
2. Stamp River Provincial Park
Best time to visit: Late August to view sockeye; coho, and chinook viewing right into December
Best time to visit: Chinook and coho can be viewed now until November. Pink salmon were viewable in September.
Best time to visit: Salmon species in the fish ladder varies throughout the year, but Mid-May to January you may see steelhead, coho, chinook, chum, or pink; February through May is primarily steelhead
