Outreach Coordinator, Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC
Where: Edith Lake, Kamloops
When: Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Join the Freshwater Fisheries Society of B.C. at Edith Lake on Saturday, February 8th to enjoy some ice fishing fun for the whole family. This free, family-oriented event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. All fishing equipment will be provided, or you can bring your own. While anglers 16 and older will require a valid B.C. Freshwater Fishing Licence, kids 15 and younger can fish for free! Our event will include mini Learn-to-Ice Fish lessons for everyone. As well, volunteers will be on-hand to assist participants, and to answer questions with expert advice.
The FFSBC will also be participating in several other ice fishing events across the province that are hosted by other organizations. Find full details about where we will be this season on our events calendar.
