It’s a great summer for off-road this year with an incredible variety of events including off-road racing, mud & sand racing, and trail ride events. I’m getting feedback from event organizers that crowds are bigger and more events are selling out. Subscriptions and club memberships are climbing and we’re seeing a lot of new people getting into the many facets of 4WD.
There’s a lot coming across my desk these days as I look at future feature editorial pieces for 4WD. I’m going to ask you guys to help me prioritize all the projects to see which ones you feel are the most important. Here’s the list, just email with your favorites;

And while I’m asking for more input I wanted to thank everyone who has already provided great feedback. It’s been a great cross section of the off-road community - from clubs, mud & sand racers to trail ride organizers and the folk’s just 4WDing for fun and reading the magazin
A friend of mine Matt just returned from a solo trek to Baja, kiteboarding and camping in his imported from Japan (right hand drive) Mitsubishi Delica. It’s a rugged, off-road, 4WD van that sees expedition use in many remote parts of the planet. He needed this reliable 4-cylinder turbo diesel to access remote beaches in the Baja. As off-roaders, we get to see places most people don’t and enjoy our sports and hobbies in conjunction with off-roading. Please write me with your favorites.
Look for the Canadian Offroad Club list soon in the web site. We want to make it easier for you to find a club or forum to enjoy good times and solve those wrenching issues.
