We are excited to announce that the 2018 Nanaimo Boat Show is returning to the Harbour City on April 12th to 15th, 2018 - Thursday to Sunday inclusive.
The 4th Annual Nanaimo Boat Show will continue to grow from the success of previous years and promote the expansion of the boating industry on Vancouver Island. At last year’s show, we welcomed over 3,000 visitors and showcased millions of dollars worth of products and services.
It was also a record setting year of sales with more than $10 million worth of transactions that were fulfilled from businesses stemming from the Nanaimo Boat Show.
For 2018, we anticipate higher participation levels, and a higher number of transactions as boating continues to be the leading recreational activity for existing and new boating enthusiasts.
Highlights for 2018:
- Larger Tented Exhibitor Space!
- Revamped layout of the upland portion of the show
- More exhibitor space and more square footage available to choose from
- Participants will continue to pass through each exhibitor at least twice
- Weather proof, tented facilities (On-land show)
- Diverse programming options for attendees and family-friendly offerings
- More In-Water and Trailer Boats
- From 15’ to 100’ boats, we have capacity for a full range of boats and yachts.
- Food and Beverage service moved to the walkway overlooking the marina
- Participants will be able to enjoy a drink or meal while they look at the in-water and trailered boats
- Large catchment area of participants from across Vancouver Island and Metro Vancouver.
Building on Success from 2017
The feedback from our last show from both exhibitors and participants was excellent and the four-day show had an economic impact of over $15 million dollars.
More importantly, we have raised thousands of dollars since the return of the Nanaimo Boat Show in 2015 for the John Howard Society, a charitable group that the Nanaimo Boat Show is proud to be supporting through your participation in this show.
