Great Okanagan Beer Festival
Nestled on the beautiful beaches of Okanagan Lake and right in the heart of the city of Kelowna, Waterfront Park will become host to 30+ breweries, pouring beers from across North America and the World. Great Okanagan Beer Festival will be a three day festival, offering patrons a mix of exclusive cask events, beer and brewing seminars, and a beer sampling main event pouring for an estimated 2,500 beer drinkers on Saturday, May 9th 2015, celebrating the creative coming together of Water, Hops, Yeast and Malt.
The Great Okanagan Beer Festival brings together beer lovers of all kinds, from those just dipping their toes in the craft beer world to beer aficionados and home brewers. Kelowna itself is set amongst the mountains, with glittering lakes, sandy beaches, and lush forests. There is a lot to see and do, including 18 golf courses to tackle, 29 wineries and a Cultural District that covers a six-block downtown area. It’s easy to get to with flights coming into Kelowna International Airport from all the major cities throughout North America making it a 60-minute trip from Calgary or Vancouver, 70 from Seattle.
