Mercury Marine
Prior to the 2016 Miami International Boat Show, Mercury Marine and Zodiac Nautic laid out a vision for growth as Zodiac CEO Dominique Heber-Suffrin and Zodiac Nautic Americas president Gary Durnan paid a visit to Mercury’s global headquarters. Over the past month, the two global brands have joined forces to market their relationship, promoting the bond at the Paris, Dusseldorf and Miami International boat shows.
Zodiac and Mercury exhibited their growing relationship on the water at the 2016 Miami International Boat Show as consumers were able to demo a RecPro 650 powered by a 150hp Mercury FourStroke outboard with Active Trim.
“I wanted to work with Mercury because they are the world leader and we are the world leader,” said Heber-Suffrin. “We want to be the undisputed world leader.”
“We have new owners with a whole new direction and our new owner Dominique’s message was very clear,” said Durnan. “If we are supposed to be the biggest rib producer in the world, we need to partner with the biggest marine business in the world.”
