Launches Redesigned Website Offering Boaters All New Product Reviews and Useful Installation Tips
Pacific Yacht Systems Inc. has unveiled its redesigned website with the goal of providing useful, easy-to-find information regarding all aspects of marine electrical, electronics and cruising in the Pacific Northwest.
The new website features a Product Reviews section where mariners can read and comment on the newest products in the market. It offers a “try before you buy” feel along with pros and cons from other mariners who have actually used the product. Once a product has been chosen, there is an “Install this Product” button that allows visitors to request a quote on the installation.
The website also contains the very popular Ask PYS Section where boaters can submit or browse questions regarding a variety of different marine topics. The browsing system on the new website makes finding specific information much more efficient.
PYS currently publishes a monthly column in Pacific Yachting Magazine called Tech Talk. These articles are now archived and available on the website. The topics cover everything from AGM batteries to zincs and include lots of DIY tips. “We have been on hundreds of boats over the years and have seen some very dangerous installations,” said Jeff Cote, President. “We wanted to find a user friendly way to share our experiences with other boaters.”
Website visitors can also access testimonials, from existing clients, that can be browsed by boat type (power or sail), system (power, navigation, communications and/or entertainment) and activities (design, installation, service and/or support).
