BRNKL, a yacht security and monitoring start up that manufacturers global cellular-based boat security systems, offers the All-in-One and External Camera that allows you to check in on your vessel and receive alert notifications via your smartphone, tablet, or computer – from anywhere, anytime.
The systems share many features including onboard cameras to visually observe your deck or cabin, plus a series of sensors to monitor anchor status, batteries, engine systems, shore power connection, bilge activity and high water. The systems also incorporate impact and motion sensors to notify you of intrusions or unexpected boat movement. Should your vessel break away from its moorage or be subject to theft, the built-in GPS with geo-fence quickly alerts you of any activity outside of the set geo-fence. While the All-In-One incorporates a built-in security camera, and the External Camera has a separate camera with 1.8 m (6 ft) cable. Some additional highlights include the ability to monitor temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, pitch/heel, and up to four batteries. Two are also featured that trigger outputs to activate sirens, lights, or other alert devices. The units integrate global cellular service where 3G/2G is available, and the service is $29 per month, which is reduced to $25/per month on a 1-year contract.
The BRNKL All-In-One: $995 CDN; The BRNKL External Camera: $1,145 CDN.
