Imagine a blue-sky day midsummer, a slight breeze whispering thru the trees in a serene mountain setting, lazy fairways and lush greens, well, you're almost there. This beautiful 285 acre resort is nestled in a scenic valley surrounded by towering rock cliffs in south-western British Columbia and is only 35 miles north of the Canada/US border at Osoyoos, BC - you have just arrived at Twin Lakes Golf and RV Resort.
“The regulation length, 18-hole resort features raised tees, challenging bunkered greens and fairway drives, water hazards on two of the beautifully manicured holes,” says Marketing Director, Kate Swanson. “We have several tee blocks on each hole to make sure that we're challenging all skill levels.”Twin Lakes also has a driving range and two putting greens on-site should you feel the need to warm up prior to hitting the course.
After your round of golf you can relax in the restaurant or out on the deck which provides a post-card view of the 1st, 9th & 10th holes. The restaurant includes gourmet burgers, local beers, and our own twist to some Okanagan favorites.
The Twin Lakes 39 stall, full hookup RV Park is only a short walk away from the first tee. Notable extras include free firewood, free Wi-fi, and free showers - all compliments of the resort. Other location features include nearby trout-stocked lakes that offer excellent sport fishing, scenic hiking and biking trails, sandy beaches, night-time entertainment, and over twenty local wineries not more than a 15 minute drive away. Seasonal opening is from April 1, through to October 15. Don’t forget your pets are welcome too!
All-in-all, Twin Lakes has managed to create a unique culture that, alongside the amazing scenery, will make it hard to leave. “We have been holidaying in the Penticton area for over 30 years and we Stay & Play Twin Lakes every year that we come to the valley. We find it a very challenging course; well maintained and playable for all calibre of golfers (which we have in our group). Good value for the cost and the service and hospitality has always been great.” Bob Gallimore (return green fee player).
