Tofino's largest fundraiser for community initiatives
Former NHL player Brendan Morrison's 7th annual Tofino Saltwater Classic fundraiser fishing derby will be held from July 1-3, 2016 in Tofino on the west coast of Vancouver Island, BC. The largest fundraiser in Tofino, the derby has raised more than $250,000 for community initiatives since its inception. 125 anglers from across North America will compete for approximately $13,000 in cash prizes to be awarded in several categories.
In addition to participant registration fees, the Tofino Saltwater Classic raises funds via business sponsorships, the event's silent auction, and private donations.
