2016 Salmon Enhancement Derby

Our Salmon Enhancement Derby is designed to raise funds for salmon enhancement and habitat restoration projects within the Nootka Sound watershed, benefiting not only the salmon fishing community but our local natural environment. 

Event Information

Nootka Marine Adventures will be holding its third annual two day Salmon Enhancement Derby, in the waters of Nootka Sound and Esperanza Inlet. Moutcha Bay Resort will serve as headquarters for the derby where the fish weigh-in and prize ceremonies will take place. This year there is a $100 per contestent entry fee and participants are encouraged to register with our customer service agents in advance of arrival.

Prizes & Sponsors

Our sponsors have the option to support our derby through donations of cash, merchandise or a combination of both. This year's total cash prizes are $8,500, in addition, we have some high value products, from a variety of sponsors, to be featured on our prize table.
