Trail Description
The trails rate from a 3 to an 8 (see the OVO trail rating system here) but that is all relative. We have a little something for everyone, from stock to modified. The trails vary from mud and rock to tight twisty trails, hill climbs and some water crossings. Canadian Shield Rock is unlike any rock in North America. It doesn't have the grip of slick rock, and usually has a generous layer of mud, leaves, moss and moisture on it to make it interesting.
There will be no Capture the Flag this year. It is a lot of work to put on and many have grown tired of it. We are working on bringing new trails to SuziCan. We have been busy scouting new trails for your enjoyment. In the end, we are out to have fun, see some faces we only see once a year, and revel in the ownership of a Suzuki!!!!
Facilities
Camping at the trailhead is free, but it is primitive with out houses provided by the Upper Canada 4WD Assoc. There are also a few swimming holes available above and below the dam, depending on how cold you like the water. Other accommodations are posted here on this site.
Activities
We will have trail rides, bon fire, awards, "King of the Rock Pile Cone Challenge" , T-shirts, raffle and sponsor door prizes. Check out the sponsor page to see who is helping out this year again.
So boogie on up and join in on the annual all Canadian Suzuki SuziCan Calabogie Boogie! You won't be disappointed.
