For me, an RV is truly about ‘down time’. I don’t want to fix issues on vacation, I just want to vacation. A bit of maintenance with a quality product goes a long way to a trouble free RV experience and an RV you can be proud of while you own it and when you sell it.

The days of formaldehyde smelling holding tank treatments are thankfully gone.

Maintaining Your Slides

We all know the benefits of having slide-outs and boy do we enjoy them. Like all moving parts, especially this type of heavy duty slide, a few minutes of preventative maintenance will pay off in the long haul with trouble free service.

MAGIC BOSSTM Lubricant & Protector for Slide-out - Your slides are made of metal so this product lubricates the moving parts, leaves a thin film that repels moisture, a chemical to inhibit corrosion and it doesn’t stain. Following the directions, I sprayed it evenly on the rails and over exposed metal parts.

MAGIC BOSSTM Slide out Rubber Seal Conditioner - We’ve all seen what the sun

and elements can do to rubber if it’s not protected.  Use this conditioner by spraying it on the seals and spread it evenly with a soft cloth. It will coat the seals with a UV protectant, adds a lubricating layer and keeps the seals pliable so they don’t stick and tear. Clean the seals first then spray on a 2-3” bead – quick wipe and you’re done.

MAGIC BOSSTM Citrus Awning Cleaner

I didn’t have an awning old and dirty enough so I tested the cleaner on the 18 year old, stained, dirty convertible back window (it’s also easier to reach).  I followed the directions – spray on and roll up for an hour. No fuss, no muss - turned out great.
