(Ottawa, ON) June 3rd, 2011 - Today, Go RVing Canada unveiled its list of RVers’ favourite National Parks in honour of Parks Canada’s 100th anniversary. The top parks were voted by RV enthusiasts through Go RVing Canada’s Top 100 Spots to RV in Canada Centennial Contest.
“Today we are celebrating an important milestone,” said Go RVing Canada Spokesperson Angèle Lapointe. “We would like to congratulate Parks Canada for this immense accomplishment and for all of their hard work in providing Canadian RVers with a first-class park service.”
Go RVing Canada is reminding families that National Parks provide the ideal setting for an RV holiday and they are the perfect way to reconnect with each other without breaking the bank.
“An RV vacation remains an extremely economical way for families to travel,” added Lapointe. “Depending on the RV model, a typical family RV vacation can be up to 75% less expensive per day than other forms of vacation travel.”
With RV shows & sales seeing impressive increases in attendance and total retail sales at RV dealerships in Canada surging close to pre-recession levels, this signifies that a record number of Canadian families are discovering the fun, freedom and flexibility that the RV lifestyle provides. It also confirms that many are planning on exploring Canada’s many beautiful sites this summer.
