‘Oh Canada Eh?’ is a musical melody of Canadian classics delivered by a live cast of performers who create uniquely Canadian characters to deliver their own renditions of chart-topping hits including tributes to Paul Anka, Joni Mitchel, Bryan Adams and Michael Buble. But not only does the cast sing, dance and ‘fumble’ on stage with each other – you’ll also be served by one their quirky characters. It’s an immersive experience as guests are seated at large tables, allowing everyone to meet new people as the cast involves audience members in the show.
In keeping with the Canadian theme, even the rustic cabin-styled venue is fashioned with Manitoba barn board walls and Alberta pine floors. In fact, the 6,000 sq ft venue can seat up to 260 people for each performance, six nights a week throughout the summer. Now in it’s 12th season, with a new director, Tara Lois Riley, the performance continues to be a strong attraction with the script, score and costumes all refreshed just last year.
Your 4-course meal is a sampling of culinary Canadiana that includes French-Canadian ham and split-pea soup, crispy battered haddock from Atlantic Canada, Manitoba grain-fed chicken and mouth-watering roast Alberta beef. They can also cater to special dietary concerns with vegetarian and gluten free dishes and dishes for those of us with other food allergies.
There’s plenty of free parking with room for RV’s and they also offer free transportation from Banff if you need it. With plenty of laughs, this musical celebration of Canada delights audiences of all ages. Find out more and book your tickets at www.ohcanadaehcanmore.com or call 800-773-0004.
