The BC Interior RV Society donation
With society directors Brian Marsden and George Stayberg, BC Interior RV Society Chairperson Al Mullins presents a $3,150.00 cheque to The Salvation Army Penticton Community Ministries Director Christine Simmons. The BC Interior RV Society is thrilled with the outcome of the inaugural event which took place in the Spring of 2012. As a result of the success of the event and the overwhelming community support, the directors of the society are pleased to present a cheque in the amount of $3,150.00 to The Salvation Army Community Food Bank. These well needed funds compliment the 1,200+ lbs of food that was collected during the three-day event which took place during Hunger Awareness Week!
The BC Interior RV Society directors would also like to thank The Salvation Army Penticton for providing some of the volunteers who helped out at the entrances. Both organizations look forward to a long and successful partnership.
