Welcome the New Seasons
By the time you read our September print or digital edition of Snowbirds and RV Travelers, Labour Day will be a few weeks away, signalling the start of two popular pastimes many RVers partake in every year.
The first is planning for fall RV trips. The landscape in many parts of Canada may still be in full bloom, but the seasons change quickly. Vibrant foliage of gold, yellows, and reds will once again line the rural highways and encompass campgrounds, providing a beautiful setting and a great opportunity to experience this time of year.
Even though your trips may be limited to weekends or select four-day getaways, campgrounds will still have their gates open, you’ll see fewer crowds and annual fall markets and festivals will be in full swing, serving up excellent flavours and exciting attractions.
The second one is preparing for the snowbird season. Finding new southern destinations, booking reservations at RV resorts, and planning for medical and travel insurance all lead to the open highway and warmer, more comfortable climates.
Starting with this September issue, we have highlighted a variety of southern destinations that we have visited, RV parks that we have stayed at, and travel tips that we have practised to ensure smooth travels for you, your partner or your family. To stay current with the trends, news and ‘everything RVing’ be sure to subscribe to our print or online edition of Snowbirds and RV Travelers by visiting us at www.suncruisermedia.com.
