Celebrating Camping from Coast to Coast - May 19-24, 2015
Planning for the first ever Canadian camping week is underway. The CCRVC is working with associations in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick on hosting events at campgrounds across the country to celebrate the Canadian camping experience.
The first ever Canadian camping week is scheduled to run between May 19-24, 2015 and will culminate in a special offer for two-night camping at $50, at participating campgrounds.
The CCRVC will work with partners in the camping sector as well as other interested parties on a communications and advertising strategy that will support the weeklong event.

With over 1400 campgrounds ready to participate in this exciting new event for our industry, we are getting ready for a celebration that will introduce a new generation to the camping experience and unite the camping sector from coast to coast.
Camping Week Objectives
- Fill empty campsites during the low season.
- Promote the camping sector.
- Promote the lifestyle associated with camping and RVing.
- Support marketing efforts of campgrounds, RV dealers and RV manufacturers.
- Raise awareness of the economic impact and commuity benefits that camping and RV industry generate.
Camping Week Main Events
- Participating campgrounds will offer a promotional discount - Two nights (Friday & Saturday) for $50.00
- Launch of the 2015 camping season in Canada
- Co-ordinated events will be held across the country
- Communications and advertising strategy will support the week-long event
