Las Vegas Motorcoach
Las Vegas Motorcoach Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada
How many times have you packed the coach and headed to your favorite RV resort for a weekend or holiday vacation only to find that the site you were hoping to stay at is not available, or worse, nor is any other site?
Time after time, you returned to that ideal place only to find it booked and left disappointed. Clearly, you aren’t the only RVer who appreciates the value and consistency of a quality destination site. Given this fact, more and more RVers are choosing ownership over the uncertainties of renting a site.
Ownership brings with it one very distinct advantage: guaranteed availability. An owner knows that when they want to vacation at their site, it will always be waiting for them to enjoy. An owner knows there will always be a vacancy at their site, and they have the freedom to embark on a spontaneous vacation.
An additional ownership factor to consider: Location, location, location – the mantra of every real estate purchase. Location merits first consideration, be it your personal coach-site or a site you consider purchasing as an investment. After identifying your purpose for ownership, the question then becomes: where do you and your family want to spend your leisure time or what areas do people enjoying visiting? The Sun Belt certainly comes to mind as answers to both questions. We all long for warm, clement RV destinations when the winter snow blows and temperatures drop to sub-freezing in much of the U.S. and Canada.
Florida, Arizona, California, and of course, Southern Nevada are destinations that evoke warm days of golf, tennis and water sports and pleasant evenings gathered around the clubhouse for outdoor barbeques. But what attractions do these various winter destinations offer outside the resort? Certainly, Las Vegas offers cold climate escapees some of the best winter weather in the U.S., but also boasts fine restaurants, shopping and world class entertainment. Perhaps best of all, Las Vegas offers fantastic entertainment while remaining amongst the most affordable of the glamour cities in the U.S.
In difficult economic times, it is essential to consider the financial potential of the investment you make on a site as someday, many years from now, you may wish to sell the site that has provided you with so many great times and memories. In this case, once again, location becomes a principal consideration.
Many RVers purchase sites in large, quality resort-style parks to use not only a destination spot, but also as an investment. For those interested in investment opportunities through ownership at world-class motorcoach resorts, there exists the opportunity to place an owner’s site in a professional, on-site and managed rental program.
The on-site management personnel book the reservations for rental guests, collect the rental fees and distribute the income to the owners. Those resorts that offer these types of programs have very equitable fee splitting arrangements between site owners and the Owners Association that administers the program. Also, the opportunity now exists for people to access their IRA accounts to purchase income-producing property. Of course, always seek a professional tax advisor prior to making this type of purchase to make sure it qualifies and is right for you.
All of this said, perhaps the most positive aspect of ownership in a beautiful motorcoach resort is the friends you will make that share an interest in the luxurious and celebrated lifestyle of RVing. Lifelong friends can be made through the variety of resort activities, such as clubhouse dance, cocktail parties and wine tastings, providing a climate that brings people together to share each other’s company and friendship. Every day in a quality resort brings with it experiences that cannot be equaled in any other way.
Ownership – something for the serious RVer to consider.
