With cooling temps and shorter days - Autumn is the perfect time to plan a getaway. Snowbirds are beginning to flock south and that means traveling between Canada and the United States. These two countries maintain a close relationship as they share the longest international border in the world.
Both nations are in agreement to exchange basic biographical information about land travelers crossing this border and each have rules that must be followed when entering. These relate to food that can be brought from one country to another, pets being transported, etc.
