Have you ever got into the crud and wished you had a bit more ‘mud terrain’ in your all terrain tires? Apparently so have engineers at Dick Cepek. The new Trail Country EXP is based on the original Trail Country tire but now features a new tread pattern with an 18.5/32-in tread depth. The tread elements aren’t as deep and large as a mud-terrain tire making the EXP a hybrid all/mud terrain tire.
The tire looks more aggressive than your typical all terrain, but has all-terrain design features like interlocking siping, stone ejector ribs, notched and stepped outer lugs, and uses a silica-reinforced compound. All of which should provide improved tread wear, cut and chip resistance, and improved wet handling and braking performance.
“As the Original Adventure Tire company, we’re pleased to add the Trail Country EXP all-terrain hybrid to our lineup,” Ken Warner, VP of Marketing said. “It’s the latest example of our dedication to providing the best products available for truck, Jeep, SUV and 4x4 owners who enjoy the great outdoors and a lifetime of adventure.” The Trail Country EXP is available in a variety of sizes from 31-37” in C through F load ratings.
