Fire up your stock exhaust one last time and listen in disappointment. This will make the finish product much more glorious. The contents of the system can be seen here.

If you have us install this system, then just sit back in our showroom and watch some off-road videos. If you wish to tackle this at home or with a buddy, then a hoist is recommended.

Lube up the hangers, rusty and dry doesn't equal smooth removal. "Lube," it makes life easier, well at least for the removal of exhaust hangers.

Remove the bolts where the Y-pipe meets the flange for the intermediate pipe. These bolts require a 14 mm socket and wench. If they don't come off, feel free to torch them. The new MBRP kit has hardware provided.

Unbolt the mid hanger bolted to the cross-member of the truck. It is the second hanger in the exhaust system. This will allow you to take the exhaust out as a whole unit.

Now to mock up the new MBRP exhaust. You will have to cut the pipe that is fitted with the resonator. Depending on whether you have a Super Cab or a Super Crew will determine the length of these pipes. We have Super Cab, so we will cut to fit.

Once you have mocked up the entire system and are happy with the engagement locations of the hangers, then it’s time for you to tighten the clamps. Our kit came with wide band clamps for a proper seal.

Now that the exhaust is all hung and tight, it is time to put the truck on the ground and cycle the suspension (we had the tire off to show the pipe). The best way to check is to jump on the bumper. Have a friend or co-worker cycle while you check for interference and or contact. Check out the sweet tip.

Tired of the lame sound of your factory exhaust? We can't stand it either, we fully encourage letting that machine breathe. The most popular exhaust deal with is the MBRP exhaust systems. This article will detail the simple and care free installation of a 3.5-in 304 stainless steel single side exit exhaust system for our 2012 Ford Raptor. This kit will also fit the EcoBoost F150. The MBRP F-150 exhaust, part # S5228304, is available in our store or on line at www.4wdaddiction.com.
If you live in Ontario and plan on driving your rig year round, we suggest spending the extra money and going with the 304 (the best grade) or 409 (second best) grade of stainless. The aluminized metal just will not hold up to our concoction of death salt syrup. For those of you out west, feel free to use the aluminized kit, it even comes black for you murdered out fellas (mat black fiends).
