Moab

If you are thinking of attending Easter Safari this year (2015), it would be a good idea to book a motel room now and put in your vacation request. The motels are starting to fill up.
Easter Safari starts early this year – March 28th, 2015 and runs thru Easter April 05, 2015.
Our plan at Badlands Off-Road Adventures is to do 4 days of trail rides between Monday (3-30) and Friday (4-03) and the attend the vendor show on Thursday. If you plan to go with us you need a room for 6 nights – arrive Sunday March 30th and depart the morning of Saturday April 4th. Check out our site: http://www.4x4training.com/Adventures/EasterSafari/EJSMain.html
Expect the motel rates to be higher for Easter Safari. It appears that the Motel 6, Days Inn and the Big Horn are among the cheaper hotels in the Moab area. You can try the Days Inn 435-259-4468 or the Big Horn 435-259-6171. Expect the price to be in the $130 to $160 per day. Motel 6 might be closer to $100- $112. Motels are not cheap during Safari!
If you are willing to drive 40 plus miles each way, the rates in Green River looks like a bargain. But you might pay the difference in gas. Don’t forget to ask about room for trailer parking if you plan to trailer your rig.
There are lots of motels in Moab. These are just a few of the cheaper ones I know. Maybe you can find a cheaper one. An alternative is to camp or bring your RV. It is a good idea to reserve an RV spot now too.
The Moab Information Center can help with lists of motels, condos, campsites, RV Parks, etc. Check out their web site http://www.discovermoab.com/visitorcenter.htm or call 800-635-6622.
See you in Moab!
