Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels
As the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) competition heats up, rounds five and six at Wild West Motorsports Park in Sparks, Nev., just outside of Reno (May 30-31) saw Team M/T racers at the podium once again.
After qualifying first for his fifth consecutive race, Pro 2 competitor, Brian Deegan earned a first place podium finish in both rounds five and six on Mickey Thompson Baja Pro tires. In Pro Lite, Deegan earned a second place podium finish on the new Mickey Thompson Baja ATZP3 tires in round five.
In Pro Buggy, Chad George earned a first place podium finish in round five and a third place podium finish in round six with Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/T tires.
Deegan and George now lead in points standings in Pro 2 and Pro Buggy respectively, with Deegan holding a strong second place standing in Pro Lite. Team M/T racers how hold number one, two and three positions in Pro Buggy points standings with Chad George, Garrett George and Dave Mason Jr. at the top of the list respectively.
“These racers did an incredible job, especially with some night racing under the lights hiding ruts and other challenging track conditions that ate up some of the most formidable opponents,” stated Ken Warner, VP of Marketing for Mickey Thompson. “Track conditions get tricky, and that’s when raw talent and great tires give racers the edge. We congratulate all the racers for the stunning performances they exhibited again this past weekend.”
