The actual LED in these lamps are made by famous USA LED manufacturer CREE. Using the CREE XM-L line introduced just a short while ago, these lights are impressive little powerhouses. Drawing just 10W each and putting out 750 lumens is a great feat in itself, but the line offers more. An IP68 housing means they are rated to withstand submersion in water below 1 metre. The lamps also come with a modular mounting system to allow grouping of lights as you see fit. Combining different beam angles together makes getting the perfect pattern of light for you easy. With a 9 to 60 volt operating range and a very nice weather tight quick connector, there’s a lot of bang for the buck in a 2”x2”x2” package.
AUX-10W-120W By just look at the lighting chart, these lamps appear unimpressive. Back in reality, we know EXACTLY where these lights would work for us. They have “rock light” written all over them. With the 120-degree beam angle, these lights are going to shine ahead of our rear tires for night wheeling. With such a small fixture in such a tough housing, we’re not concerned with any damage or debris taking them out.
AUX-10W-20B Going to the other end of the spectrum with a 20 degree beam, these will make great forward facing lights to see what we’re about to drive over.
