Salish Sea Marine Survival Project
Salish Sea Marine Survival Project
Pacific Salmon Foundation
We're very pleased to announce that Pacific Salmon Foundation donors helped raise $199,466 during our 2017 year-end appeal. Thanks to the generosity of supporters, we were able to fully leverage the $50,000 matching challenge put forward by our friend Rudy North.
The funds will support projects like the Salish Sea Marine Survival Project, which will be entering its final and most critical year in 2018. Our scientists are currently working to analyze an unprecedented volume of data collected on the Strait of Georgia, and determine a path to recovery for wild Coho, Chinook and Steelhead fisheries in the Strait. We look forward to sharing our recommendations with you in 2018.
Also, special thanks to Islander Reels for donating a TR3 mooching rod and reel combo for our special draw for all who donated at least $100.
On behalf of our Board and staff, thank you again for helping ensure a future for wild Pacific salmon.
