PassageMaker Power Cruising Authority
Don't miss PassageMaker’s premier cruising event May 12-17, 2015 in Anacortes, Wash.
TrawlerFest features new and used cruising powerboats, seminars taught by industry professionals, marine products and services, nightly entertainment and two-day technical courses at Trawler Fest University.
Lead presenters are Nigel Calder, the author of “Marine Diesel Engines,” and Steve Zimmerman, who owns four boatyards and has 40 years of experience, who will present a seminar titled “Everything You Need to Know About Diesel Engines” on May 12 and 13.
TrawlerFest University’s one-day destination course, “The Great Loop for West Coast Cruisers,” and a two-day morning weekend course, “Hands-On Powerboat Handling,” are also being offered.
TrawlerFest celebrity presenter Sprague Theobald, an award-winning documentary filmmaker and expert sailor with more than 40,000 offshore miles under his belt, always considered the Northwest Passage — the sea route connecting the Atlantic to the Pacific — the ultimate uncharted territory. “Northwest Passage: Adventure, Ordeal or Both” is a two-hour seminar scheduled for 10:45 a.m. on May 15 at Cap Sante Marina.
