The Painted Boat Resort Spa and Marina will provide that added touch to your next cruising adventure.
There are many scenic, shore side attractions throughout BC’s Sunshine Coast and Pender Harbour, located on the south coast, is certainly among them. Tucked away amidst the area’s scattered islands is the popular Painted Boat Resort Spa and Marina, a vibrant, coastal chic resort with deep-water moorage that provides the perfect break from the helm.
Offering casually elegant and spacious two bedrooms/two bath villas – each with captivating shore side views from an oversized patio or deck – transient boaters take pleasure all year with wellness treatments in the only full-service spa on the lower Sunshine Coast. A series of on-site amenities – such as the locally sourced Pan Asian infused cuisine at the Lagoon Restaurant (open from early April to late October) and a range of off-site activities (like hiking, mountain biking and kayaking) combine to provide a well-rounded, relaxing stay.
Pender Harbour
Located in the community of Madeira Park, the Painted Boat Resort Spa and Marina is bordered by a funky collective of neighborhoods, which includes Garden Bay, Kleindale, Irvines Landing and Daniel Point.
Any time of the year, the entire area showcases an eclectic array of amenities that range from artists' studios, museums, and annual international jazz and blues festivals, to outdoor adventures treasured the world over. With much to see and do, Pender Harbour has long been a draw for boaters and Painted Boat Resort’s knowledgeable Guest Services team is always on hand to help design onshore programs for overnight guests.
Painted Boat Resort's Marina
The resort’s fully-protected, deep water marina is safe from storms and the wharf offers slips ranging from 20 to 60 feet (for a total of 300 feet of short-term moorage). It's also the ideal place to drop anchor for an afternoon, or better yet, pull into a slip for an overnight stay or longer. Just be sure to make reservations in advance as space is always in demand.
For guests dining at The Lagoon Restaurant or with an appointment at The Spa, day moorage is complimentary, while a moorage rate of $1.25 per foot applies for those staying in one of the gorgeous contemporary villas. Although, the marina does not provide public services such as washrooms, showers or garbage disposal to its daytime marina visitors, use of the infinity pool, fitness facility, and Spa Garden are available for an additional daily fee. Marina guests are also welcome to dine at The Lagoon Restaurant or indulge in the services at The Spa. Reservations, again, are recommended.
