Many destinations are accessible by boat only, providing the utmost isolation.

Albas Falls
This destination is a real gem on Shuswap Lake. Its located near the tip of Seymore Arm on the north shore of the lake and the five- to six-hour journey (if you’re coming from Sicamous) means cruising along miles of shoreline. Provincial parks along the way offer beaches for a picnic or to even spend the night. As you approach the end of Seymore Arm, mooring is available along the sandy shoreline in Steamboat Bay and once you're secured, take the trail (a three-kilometre loop trail) from the beach to Albas Falls. Soon, you’ll be amazed with the series of majestic waterfalls at the top and bottom of the trail.
Four Mile Creek
Visiting an area that’s accessible only by boat means one thing: isolation. This is also a multi-hour destination from Sicamous and once you’re on your way up to its location at Anstey Arm you’ll be glad it is. Spending time along this route allows you to experience many shoreside sites including Anstey View – along the west side of Anstey Arm – and Roberts Bay that features a small sheltered beach area. The scenery in this part of the Shuswap can’t be beat. Four Mile Creek offers seven wilderness campsites where you can moor your vessel, enjoy water activities and discover the sparkling creek set in the dense cedar-hemlock forest.
Marble Point
Mooring at Marble Point during a vacation will most likely have you thinking “this is what enjoying life is all about.” With its sand beach and warm waters, Marble Point is where smart devices should be shutdown. A perfect place for paddle boarding, swimming, or just taking it easy, it’s accessible only by boat and located in The South Shuswap between Sicamous and Cinnemousun Narrows (on the east side of the lake). If you feel like stretching your legs, there’s access to the one-kilometre Marble Point Trail, where you can observe marble/limestone outcroppings set among the rich, lush, forest.
The Shuswap Shark Shack
While there are many destinations worth exploring in the Shuswap, none are as unique as the Shark Shack. One of the few licensed family restaurants and bars on Shuswap Lake, its located in Cinnemousun Narrows at the centre of the four arms and its signature yellow and red exterior makes it pretty hard to miss. Easy accessible with dock hands to guide you in, you can relax over a cold beverage and enjoy a light snack or full meal as the menu is diverse. Take-out is available and its ideal to visit in a tender for even easier access. www.shuswapsharkshack.com
