Sea Ray 400 Sundancer
Soundings
Sea Ray will debut its 400 Sundancer in November at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
The boat has an open floor plan with connected “social zones” throughout. Large windows and a power sunroof let light in.
Seating includes an L-shaped lounge that accommodates as many as eight people, and the boat features a triple-pane entry door and a retractable cockpit SureShade.
“The new 400 Sundancer is all about comfortable socializing and relaxing, day and night,” Sea Ray Group president Tim Schiek said in a statement. “The focal point of the design is an expansive, single-level living space on the main deck. This layout includes a convenient galley up, making it perfect for entertaining, while huge windows fill the space with an abundance of natural light. Yet the interior design also encourages warm and inviting nighttime gatherings. It’s truly a boat you can enjoy every hour of the day.”
The living area below opens to two staterooms. The master stateroom comes with a closet system or an optional second head and shower. The aft stateroom sleeps three and features a settee and sliding bunks that convert to a double bed when preferred.
Aft, the 400 Sundancer’s optional hydraulic swim platform features innovative self-deploying boarding steps.
“The 400 Sundancer delivers signature Sea Ray style and performance,” Schiek said. “This is the kind of boat that draws people to the water and makes them want to stay out longer. It is a fantastic addition to the Sundancer series.”
