Story & Photos By Gail Folk
The Rincon Country RV Resorts in Tucson, Arizona are your destination if you love activities, local sightseeing, or just relaxing by the pool. Both the West Park and the East Park have earned the Good Sam
10/10*/10 rating and are now AAA Approved Properties. How this translates to guests staying at the Resorts is that they will find both Resorts, impeccably clean, tidy and well landscaped, and with all up-to-date/modern facilities.
Both Resorts have full commercial kitchens that can handle catering for large groups in one of their two ballrooms. The Activity Directors will keep you very busy with national entertainment groups and other events that are scheduled at each location during the season. Between the two Resorts, there are 140 clubs that are very busy with activities such as woodworking, sewing, lapidary and silversmithing, ceramics, drama, photography, singing, dancing, hiking, biking and the list goes on and on.
If it is sports that you prefer, then you’ll be happy with the tennis courts, pickleball courts, shuffleboard courts, and the trips around town to the different golf courses. You can also join low-impact aerobics, pool exercises, and the stretch and flex group for a great start to your day.
The West Resort is specializing in Rallies for those who are looking for interesting tourist destinations or for those featuring club events. A catering tent will be available to those interested. There are 24 RV spaces that have been set aside to handle Class A, B, or C motor homes for Rallies. The Rally members will have access to all the amenities offered at the Resorts.
New to the Resorts this year was the acquisition of a tour bus for guests staying at the Resorts. Sit back and let someone else drive you around to local tourist destinations such as, Tombstone, Tucson Botanical Gardens, Reid Park Zoo, Tucson Museum of Art, Arizona History Museum, Pima Air Museum, and Elgin Wineries (built-in designated driver), all at no cost to you.
The West Resort has a new Park Sales Office on the property featuring Schult-Clayton and Champion Park Models. Look for great move-in incentives on the purchase of a new or used home for the 2014-15 season.
Why would you want to go anywhere else? With 1100 spaces including some deluxe pull-throughs at the West location and 460 spaces with wonderful mountain views at the East Resort, the Rincon Country RV Resorts should be your final destination for Southern Arizona.
