Pipestone Links
Staff writer
A secluded and challenging 9-Hole championship golf course located in a picturesque valley along the Pipestone Creek. This is a family owned golf course which opened its doors in 2004 and is located just half an hour south of Edmonton, one kilometer east of off Highway 2A between Millet and Wetaskiwin.
Our golf course offers a relaxed, down to earth atmosphere where customer satisfaction is the number one priority. We strive to provide an exceptional golf experience with our well manicured greens, tee boxes and fairways. The links style course scenery consists of mature trees, water hazards and is laid out on an old creek bed with many rolling hills. You may also run into some of our wildlife, so keep your eye on the ball as a fox or raven will attempt to take off with it from time to time!
We are very family orientated and appreciate that not everyone enjoys or is able to play golf. Accordingly, it is not uncommon for a spouse to walk or ride along with their partner, enjoying nature and each other’s company while one of them plays golf.
Located near the clubhouse is the RV Park, which overlooks the golf course and valley along the Pipestone Creek. Most lots are rented out for the season and are a good option for people heading south for the winter. The following services are included with your stay in the park: power, water, sewer, wireless internet and fire wood. Tenants have access to (grocery) stores and laundry facilities in nearby places like Millet and Wetaskiwin. Many tenants have commented that our park is quiet and that they feel secure.
With the park overlooking the golf course, it is very convenient to walk to the club house and book a tee-time or check to see if there’s an opening to squeeze in a round.
The Golf Course and RV Park are surrounded by several towns and cities and are conveniently close to the Edmonton International Airport; perfect for those that have family nearby.
We take pleasure in seeing the RV Park as its own community, where strangers meet and help each other. Often, campers will sit around the camp fire together as well as organize events.
