- 3rd Place - $500
Details:
The Derby is catch and release and open to all ages. We are looking for the longest Rainbow Trout in Okanagan Lake. We are encouraging catch and release practices and will be declaring the winner(s) based on length of the fish only. The prizes will be awarded to the entrants who catch the longest Rainbow Trout.
(Note: We have custom wrist bracelets that will be given out at registration. They are under lock and key so nobody knows what they look like. Every fish caught needs to have this "unique" bracelet in the picture to qualify. Also: Everyone in the boat participating must have a ticket registered in their name. Any person onboard fishing without a ticket will have the entire boat disqualified. We will have spotters on the lake to make sure it is fair for everybody.)

Feel free to launch your boat anywhere you like and you are permitted to fish the entire Okanagan Lake.
