Photography Exhibit: Out of Bounds, Tales from the Backcountry

More than 20 backcountry photographers will battle for bragging rights as the winner of the “People's Choice” and the “Best in Show" awards. Photography will be judged by a panel of experts in the photography industry. All can come and view the photography in the Scotia Creek Gallery at Millennium Place.

Summer Artist Demonstrations at the Farmers Market

Mountain Galleries will be hosting live painting demonstrations at the Sunday Farmers Market outside the gallery from 10 AM to 4 PM. Featuring a different artist each week, demonstrations will include sculpture, painting, wood carving and jewelry design.

Out of Bounds, Tales from the Backcountry Launch Party

Join the Whistler Arts Council at the launch party for "Out of Bounds, Tales from the Backcountry," a month-long photo contest and exhibit featuring entries from more than 20 emerging and professional backcountry photographers from British Columbia. The evening boasts a chance to view all the photographers' entries, great food, music and door prizes. Guests can cast their vote for the "People's Choice" award at the launch party or throughout the month of October with a chance to win a heli-skiing trip.
