The Robson Valley Music Festival is a 3 day family oriented music and arts event, located in the heart of the Robson Valley, Dunster, BC, which began with the mandate to bring culture and music to this isolated rural community in 2004.
9 years later, this successful and incredible multi cultural event, hosts 40 acts from all over BC, Canada, and the World. With approximately 1000 – 1500 attendees, this little hidden gem of an Arts Festival has earned the name “The Lil Festival That Could!” All genres of music are represented from Blues to World, Folk, Country and Rock. Workshops offer anything from Flamenco Dance & Guitar to Songwriting, Belly dancing, Yoga, Bio Diesel, as well as a host of interactive, hands on Art Workshops.
There is a large Artisan area with wares made locally, and from all over the world. There are incredible food vendors, who are mostly locals, creating sumptuous dishes from curries to crepes to quesadillas, baked and dried goods and our famous local beef burgers & fresh ground coffee. Our children’s area is bursting with activities and performances just for kids on Saturday and Sunday. The intimacy of the festival site allows for parents to be able to keep track of their children. Hopefully!
The festival site runs 2 kms along the banks of the Fraser River nestled between the Rocky and Caribou Mountain ranges. The location is breathtaking. On site there are 2 camping areas: One is 1 km from main site, and is RV and large vehicle friendly. The second one is right up close to site, but can only accommodate smaller vehicles and tents. Both sites have outhouses, and no hook ups.
