Lance 995 Camper

Lancaster, Calif.-based Lance Camper Manufacturing Corp., currently marking its 50th year of operation, has introduced an all-new truck camper model, the 995.
According to a press release, the 995 is a nine-foot model with 3,290-pound base dry weight – 300 to 500 pounds less than competitive models. Highlights include a full wall dinette/refrigerator superslide sitting on an “above the wheel well” floor design. This new floor configuration allows for more space inside the camper, less of a step up into the slide out area and the addition of a slideout storage drawer in the basement area.
Randy Hunter, product development manager, noted, “We introduced the above the wheel well floor design on the 1172 model and our owners love it, so we have incorporated into the new 995 as well. This gives our owners an additional 9 inches of interior floor width, which is evident as soon as you walk in.”
The all-new 995 standard features a large galley with substantial counter space and built in trash can designed to accommodate today’s most common size of plastic grocery bag. The cab-over area features a new radius entry step and all new entertainment center housing the standard blue tooth compatible audio system and optional 24-inch TV. Available options include an electric rear awning, Lance’s exclusive ultraDECKplus bumper, keyless entry, entry door shade and new LED docking lights.
Production starts in January.
