RV Business
Cruiser RV has implemented a targeted redesign of its ultralightweight Fun Finder and Shadow Cruiser travel trailers while launching a new fifth-wheel floorplan in its wide-body line of Stryker toy haulers.
Slated for introduction at the Sept. 18-22 Elkhart RV Open House, upgrades across all lines will include new exterior graphics, updated interior designs and state-of-the-art technology.
“Cruiser has made sweeping changes in several of its core laminated lines for 2018,” offered Chris Hermon, president of Heartland Recreational Vehicles LLC which acquired Howe, Ind.-based Cruiser RV in January of 2015. “Upgrades are across-the-board, modernizing units with clean exterior styling while incorporating the latest product innovations and advancements in technology on the interior.”
The new Fun Finder floorplans offer the convenience of sleeping up to 10 while still allowing for towing by half-ton trucks. The exterior features a new aggressive graphics package, high-gloss white fiberglass, and a two-tone painted front cap that sets off the brand’s redesigned logo. The interior also received a facelift with solid-surface countertops and new LED lighting throughout that complements the redesigned dinettes and tri-fold sofas.
Offering 11 full-featured floorplans, Fun Finder remains aggressively priced and positioned to further grow market share in the highly-competitive ultralightweight segment.

Sturdy 5/8-inch tongue and groove plywood flooring is offered on all models, giving the coach a high-end look while providing lasting quality. For 2018, Shadow Cruiser includes floorplans ranging from 23- to 32-feet designed to accommodate couples and families.
Cruiser addresses the rapidly expanding toy hauler market with wholesale interior upgrades across the Stryker line while also adding the 39-foot triple slide STF3513 fifth-wheel that will debut at Open House.
The versatile Stryker fifth-wheel lineup is now comprised of three models offering at least 13 feet of garage space with durable tie downs located throughout and wardrobe slides in the master bedroom.
General Manager Jay Mohamed noted, “The 13-foot garage meets a key trend in the toy hauler market by accommodating the popular four-seat side-by-side. Our Stryker line is at the forefront in this growing market segment with features that stay in step with consumer demand.”
The updated travel trailer offerings come standard with solid-surface countertops, residential raised panel hardwood cabinet doors and king beds in all models.
