To better align with its mission of embracing and supporting all RV owners, the Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA) will soon rebrand as the Family RV Association. This change, approved by the FMCA Governing Board during its annual meeting on August 14, 2024, includes the introduction of a new logo and a detailed timeline for the brand transition.
The updated name keeps the word “Family,” a core value since the association's founding in 1963 and a key element of its long-standing tagline, “Your RVing Family.” For members, “Family” signifies more than just kinship; it reflects the close-knit community of RV enthusiasts who forge meaningful connections and lasting friendships. The new name also emphasizes “RV,” clearly representing the association’s dedication to the RV travel and lifestyle community.
“We are excited to begin a new adventure as Family RV Association,” FMCA national president Gary Milner said. “For 60-plus years, FMCA — now Family RV Association — has been helping RVers to form incredible connections with fellow RV travelers. We want to make sure all RV are aware of the wonderful opportunities and benefits membership brings. Adopting a name that better describes our community makes perfect sense.”
