At each convention, FMCA adopts a charity in the host community to provide support to through several fundraising activities. The Magic Mile is a 1-mile walk/run around the convention grounds that convention-goers donate to participate in, while the Silent Auction features all sorts of awesome items that attendees can bid on. We’re also holding our first Driven To Care Golf Outing on Friday, August 16. All proceeds from these events and other activities are presented to the select charity on the final night of convention. For the Redmond event, our designated charity will be Hospice of Redmond – Camp Sunrise – a Grief Camp for kids and teens. This non-profit organization was founded on the understanding that every child deserves the opportunity to grieve in a safe, supportive, and understanding environment.
