The summer season is almost almost upon us and parks will likely book up fast! The New Jersey Campground Owners and Outdoor Lodging Association (NJCOA) is reporting that several parks across the state will be opening for the upcoming Memorial Day weekend, as well as Father’s Day weekend in June.
Openings were available at the time of reporting by park operators, but some sites may have been booked in the interim. Travelers should contact parks directly to make reservations. Each park has its own policies for bookings, cancellations, pets, and facility usage.
Parks reporting openings, listed by NJ vacation region:
Skylands Region (northwestern NJ):
- Camp Taylor Campground, Columbia, NJ. www.camptaylor.com, (908) 496-4333. 400-acre park on the Delaware Water Gap Mountain, adjacent 100K acres of public land.

Greater Atlantic City Region (Atlantic City and beyond):

Shore Region (eastern shores of NJ, mid-state):
