Trans-Dapt
Improve your performance.
Whittier, Calif. (May, 2012) – Trans-Dapt Performance Products Multi-Port Fuel Injection (MPFI) Spacers are available for most popular’96-‘06 GM, ’92-’03 Dodge, ’87-’04 Ford trucks and many 1991-’06 Jeeps. These American-made spacers increase torque, throttle response and efficiency, and they do so at an economical price. Trans-Dapt offers three distinct plenum design variations, and with the exception of their Mercruiser Marine spacers, the entire line of cast-aluminum spacers has been issued a C.A.R.B. EO number, making them 50-state legal!
Trans-Dapt's Torque-Curve design MPFI spacers lead the way, by providing the best overall performance. They have a specially contoured venturi design that neutralizes a turbulence producing negative pressure zone behind the throttle blade. This conditions airflow as it passes through the throttle body, increasing air speed into the manifold. The result is noticeably better performance. Testing during Trans-Dapt’s development of the Torque-Curve MPFI spacer design showed a gain of up to 54.3 ft-lb of torque at the rear wheels on a 2004 GMC truck equipped with a 4.8L V-8, outperforming their own standard spacer design, as well as, a leading competitor's spacer on the same vehicle. Benefits aren’t restricted to full-throttle dyno runs either; the contoured venturi design functions under all driving conditions.
Other Trans-Dapt MPFI spacer designs include their Wide-Open MPFI spacer design, with an open plenum that improves mid-to-high end performance, and Trans-Dapt's original Smooth Bore MPFI spacer design that got the whole line started back in the 90's. All three Trans-Dapt's MPFI Spacer designs are packaged with all the gaskets, hardware and detailed instructions needed to make for a quick, painless installation.
