Highway driving made simpler with ProPILOT Assist
For road trips and other long highway journeys, Pathfinder drivers will appreciate the availability of ProPILOT Assist2. The advanced, hands-on driver assistance feature combines steering assist and Intelligent Cruise Control to help control acceleration, braking and steering in both heavy highway traffic and on the open highway. The system uses a forward-facing camera, forward-facing radar and other sensors to help keep Pathfinder centered in its lane. In stop-and-go traffic, ProPILOT Assist can even bring the vehicle down to a complete stop and hold it in place until traffic moves again. ProPILOT Assist is standard on Pathfinder SV and Rock Creek.
ProPILOT Assist with Navi-link (standard on Pathfinder SL and Platinum) elevates the system’s performance by using data from the navigation system to proactively adjust the vehicle’s speed before curves and freeway exits2.
