For 13 years now the Queen City Cruise has taken over downtown Nelson, BC on the first September weekend after Labour Day. Sandwiched between the classic cars and hot rods were some unusual and iconic Jeeps.
According to Jack Chambers, there were 388 registered cars and trucks plus 17 unregistered on display for the roughly 9,500 visitors. “It’s been a great weekend for us with only one rainy day and a couple of cloudy days”. September 11 and 12, 2015 were sunny blue-sky days with attendees coming from all over BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and as far south as Arizona.
If you’re planning to attend, book your hotel room early, as there wasn’t a room available anywhere in the city for the 2015 event.
