Every day you see trucks running bumpers that probably cost more than my classic 1987 Lada Niva. Often they have a set of cheap LED lights that are worth less than a set of worn out 31” mud terrains. These cheap lights usually have bad light output with a poor beam pattern and, if you are lucky enough to have them last more than one year, chances are they’ll look like a bathroom mirror after a hot shower.

NightRider LEDS are street legal with value and reliability.
Luckily, NightRider LEDS is a leading brand from Houston, British Columbia, Canada that understands the need for performance, value, reliability and fantastic customer service. It offers a wide selection of LED lights and has one of the best selections of street legal LEDs that I have seen from any single brand. This includes SAE/DOT-approved light bars plus cubes that come in a spot, flood, fog light and even a three-way side blinder.
Additionally, NightRider has a number of round models from 12.7 CM (5 in) all the way up to the monstrous and impressively SAE-approved Driver Pro 9R – the single most impressive street legal light that I have ever had.
The Driver Pro 9R is a massive 23 cm (9 in) round LED set that is not only an approved auxiliary light but has built-in daytime running lights that add a cool white illuminated 1.27 cm (0.5 in) horizontal strip that stretches across the face of each light. The ultra slim housings contain 34 high power German OSRAM LEDs, which drive each light to produce an impressive 12,000 lumens of light.

The driving beam pattern offers the best of all worlds with a great mix of spot and flood. They are sold as a kit that includes two lights with stainless mounts, a full wiring harness with separate switches for the running lights and auxiliary lights, plus stainless-steel mounting hardware.
There is one more standout feature worth mentioning. NightRider includes a double-sided colour print out that has installation instructions on one side and detailed information on the street legal mounting requirements from the “Motor Vehicle Act Regulations” on the other.
If you want a set of street legal lights that are really worth every penny then get yourself a set of the NightRider Driver Pro 9R’. These are truly the finest SAE-approved driving lights that I have ever run and a set that I will continue to run for many years to come.
