ORB-72WD-35
By Bryan Irons
Super Bright LED’s line of Heavy Duty lamps come with an IP67 rating, meaning they can be submerged up to 1m deep. A polycarbonate lens lets the 35-degree beam angle light up the night and prevent any shattering glass on the trail with accidental bumps. The housing themselves are a black painted aluminum and come with stainless mounting hardware and brackets. Other mounting brackets are available. This robust line shocked us overall with the nice beam patterns and great color. Not the bluish light commonly seen today, this was a good, useable white light.
ORB-18WD-35 is an 18 watt, six LED unit drawing just over 1.5 amps at 12 volts. At just about 5” wide, they would make great replacements for the old set of lamps you currently have on your rig.
ORB-54WS-35 This single row 21” wide unit could easily be mounted behind a grill to keep thieves at bay and the light hidden until needed - while it blasts out 4000+ lumens using 54 watts without adding any excess heat to the front of your rig. Its light weight would make it a great roof mounted light, as well as anywhere a low profile is required.
ORB-72WD-35 We set this lamp on our winch roller fairlead nonchalantly as we looked for a good location for its 15” wide body. It just so happens that the fairlead is going to make the perfect mounting location for this light. At 5400 lumens and 72 watts of draw, this is a keeper for us as it has one of the best beam patterns of any of our test lights.
