Supreme Boats S224
Soundings TradeOnlyToday Magazine
Supreme Boats has introduced the S224 for 2018, a V-drive model designed to be an effective towboat for wakeboarding, wakesurfing and skiing.
The manufacturer builds the boat with the vacuum infusion process and designs it with a modified deep-vee hull. With 2,000 pounds of available ballast, the S224 can throw large wakes and waves. There is also an available 500 pounds of ballast plumbed beneath the bow seats.
The driver of the S224 can control the wakes with the SeeTouch Dash. Engage the Stinger Wake Plate to minimize the effects of propeller wash. Additionally, the dash has GPS Speed Control by ZeroOff; Ballast Command and Monitoring; QuickSurf Command and Monitoring; Stinger Wake Plate Command; and full system monitoring.
The boat has a wraparound windshield that is designed to complement the Octo Tower, with black pillars sporting the Supreme logo. An optional tower by Skylon is available and has a compression latch-activated overlock and weightless folding.
The S224 measures 22 feet, 4 inches, without the platform and has a beam of 95 inches and a draft of 27 inches. It weighs 3,650 pounds, carries 43 gallons of fuel and can accommodate 11 people.
