Jim & Deb Harris
Baja Amigos
Commencing immediately BAJA AMIGOS RV Caravan Tours are pleased to announce the addition of new Wagon-Masters, Jim & Debbie Harris, to the 2016/2017 Baja season. Jim & Debbie have extensive experience in tourism and are also avid travelers. They have vacationed in Canada, USA, Mexico, Central America, South America, Southeast Asia and Australia for decades.
Dan Goy, President said “We are excited that Jim & Debbie have joined our Baja Amigos team. Their love for Mexico and years involved tourism and travel makes them a good fit to lead our RV Caravans.
Lisa Goy, VP added “Heading into our 8th season with 35 tours behind us, we know Jim & Debbie are well suited to be Wagon-Masters for Baja Amigos. Last season was record breaking for us as we added additional tours and Wagon-Masters, 2016/2017 looks even better.”
Debbie Harris said “We toured with Baja Amigos last fall and were very impressed with the tour they planned and delivered, their experience and knowledge about Mexico and familiarity of Baja is obvious. We really love their personal approach, on-tour excursions and small caravan size. We really look forward to introducing other RVers to this magnificent peninsula and are keen to assume our role as Wagon-Masters for Baja Amigos RV Caravan Tours.”
“RVing on Baja is simply incredible and we cannot wait to share this experience with other RVers. Our years in tourism and love for travel have prepared us well for our new role as Baja Amigos Wagon-Masters. We have traveled to many locations and destinations worldwide, believe when I say Baja is unique, and you can even drive there, how great is that!” commented Jim Harris.
Jim was born in Edmonton, Alberta and raised in Vancouver, BC. Debbie was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. They have been together for almost 30 years and now reside in West Kelowna, BC. Currently they own and operate Uncorked Okanagan Wine Tours. Well-connected throughout the Okanagan, Jim currently has served as a Director of Tourism Westside and is a Past Director of Westbank & District Chamber of Commerce, while Deb was the Membership Director of the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce, networking with more than 1,300 members.
Fact: Over 1 million Canadians and 30 million Americans currently own RVs and the Baby Boomer generation is the fastest growing demographic in both countries. Hundreds of thousands of Canadians and Americans snowbird to the southwest US within 250 miles of the Mexican border from San Diego, CA to Corpus Christi, Texas and the Gulf of Mexico shoreline each winter.
